Our Sister's massage: Suzanne Barakat on Ted Talks,

         Suzanne Barakat, what a tough decision to take. To speaking the truth about what had happened to her brother-, a 23 yr old newly wed man who was assassinated with his wife, and his sister in law by his neighbor. It reminds us that there are a part of this world where muslim were treated not as good as we are.

         Hate crime is real, it raises because the we as muslim-, were given the wrong picture. So, here and wherever- we need to raise the awareness and empathy. To the world- we need to show that, that islam and muslim is better than what were portrayed by the world. To our fellow Muslim Brother and sister-, regardless political views, color complexion, sects by and large- we need to come as one in the name of our belief, in the name of our God, in the name of the corpus of religion we are practicing of merely believe in. Keep praying, what a fortune for us if we can do beyond that. We should not needed such tragedy as an alarm that wake us all- we need to revive the tradition (sunnah) of tolerance taught by our prophet.

          We are -, Alhamdulillah live still in a conducive area, even with a few bit tension within our community; a clash between mass organizations. What a blessing to have such large number of population and stable economy. It is possible for us to involve more into supporting. Alhamdulillah we have a good track record in sending aid and any needs across the world. And now, we can cross the border- geography, racial, cultural, by and large and do what brotherhood supposed to aim. ''A body, that strengthen one and another.'' Once our prophet SAW said. اللهم صل وسلم وبارك و أنعم سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين و كل أمته إلى يوم القيامة

PS: Hate crime is widely spread and targeting a various groups- mostly minorities. So, it is fundamental for us to construct our mindset to get well prepared. And keep reconditioning ourselves on positive vibes and thinking and treat human as as how we treat ourselves as human.  By this we can contribute on prevailing the kindnesses.
